Charging time depends on your vehicle’s onboard charger and station power:

  • AC (up to 22 kW): adds 25–35 miles range per hour.
  • DC Fast (60–360 kW): 0–80% in 20–40 minutes.

3. How much does charging cost?

Pricing varies by location and connector type. In most regions:

  • AC: $0.20–$0.30 per kWh
  • DC Fast: $0.30–$0.45 per kWh
Check real-time rates in the LeapCharger app before you start.

4. Do I need an account or app to charge?

Yes—download the LeapCharger app (iOS/Android) to locate stations, start/stop sessions, and pay cashlessly. You can also tap an RFID card at enabled stations.

5. Can I reserve a charging station?

Reservation support is rolling out. For now, view live availability in the app and plan your arrival. “Reserve & Go” launches later this year.

6. What if the app or station is offline?

Most stations have LTE/Wi-Fi fallback. If you encounter an offline unit, please report it in-app or call the support number displayed on the station.

7. Are LeapCharger stations accessible 24/7?

Yes—our network is available around the clock unless under scheduled maintenance. Real-time status is always in the app.

8. What safety precautions should I take?

Park correctly, follow on-screen prompts, and avoid standing in traffic lanes. Disconnect the plug carefully when your session ends and stow cables neatly.
